That’s right, online gambing fans. It’s 2010 and we’re already years into the modern generation of the internet. The static, boring HTML pages of the 1990s led to the Web 2.0, social media, user-generated content sites of today. Before there was Facebook (yes, kids, there wasn’t always a Facebook)….before there was Youtube (seriously, how did we live without it?), and before there were even online casino sites (gasp!)….there was blogging.
If you’ve been living on another planet, “blog” is short for “weblog”, an online diary, journal, or just place for a writer to put his thoughts on a topic out to the general public. There are blogs on any topic: politics, sports, and of course, online gambling. (If this post were any more self-referential, it would be a “Seinfeld” episode.)
Where I’m going is this: the number of blogs on any given topic reflect the level of interest in that topic and it’s pretty clear that based on the growing number of online casino blogs (ahem….AHEM), online gambling is only getting more and more popular.
Wordpress is the hottest blogging host around these days and just yesterday, it came to my attention that someone has designed and posted free online casino templates for public use. That’s pretty cool, no? Gamblers helping gamblers…I love it. I just can’t wait for the first online gambling “vlog” (video blog). That’s what we need, some live-action video of casino games. I guess that’s what we have the World Series of Poker for.
Ok, aspiring bloggers, I’ll see you online!
