People, people, people. Who loves you? Who looks after you? Who wants the best in online gambling and casino games for you? I do. In a game where risk-taking is high (stealing bases, throwing a ball down the center of the plate with the bases loaded), it’s no surprise that future Hall-of-Famer Tom Glavine will be once again throwing his annual “Spring Training” party with proceeds going to the Georgia Transplant Foundation.
High-profile jocks will be in attendance to take on attendees in popular casino games like poker and blackjack and there will also be auctions including great stuff such as gift certificates, sports memorabilia, packages to beautiful destinations, Cracker Jack, and more. (Ok, forget the Cracker Jack….I’m getting pumped for baseball season, ok?)
Thanks to Tom and his casino night, almost five million bucks have been raised to help provide various types of help to recipients of organ transplants. And five million bucks is chump change in the gambling world. With a generation raised on “Rounders” and the World Series of Poker now holding down jobs, events like these are sure to keep succeeding.
