Ok, sorry about that.  Been a bit of a crazy day and I haven’t gotten my online blackjack fix in almost 24 hours.  Based on the recent research on online gambling coming out of Montreal’s prestigious McGill University, my slight blow-up above isn’t surprising.  Are you ready for this, online gambling detractors?

Here’s some hard data:  people who played online casino games not only felt less stressed but had their levels of cortisol, a hormone related to stress fall by an average of seventeen percent.  Not that I needed another reason to play online blackjack but hey, I’ll take it!  Stress can lead to alcoholism, physical ailments, and in the end, death.  I like my alcohol when I’m not under stress, thank you, very much.  Why ruin a perfectly good gin and tonic with being upset?

This on the heels of studies from Eastern Carolina and Oxford Universities showing that computer games reduce stress and increase happiness and can help treat PTSD.

So there you have it, more proof that online gambling is a good thing.  YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT?!?!?   STOP ARGUING WITH ME!!!  Ok, it’s time for somebody to go take the edge off…  Casino Tropez, here I come…
