We certainly hope so….it’s only a few weeks till Christmas so hopefully you won some good cash for your upcoming shopping sprees.
And when it comes time to start buying gifts, here’s an idea for Grandma and Grandpa. How about a laptop? Believe it or not, more and more senior citizens are getting into online gambling. And why not? More and more seniors were just a few years ago middle-aged moms and dads who caught on to computers when the internet was first dawning.
Yesterday’s Vegas fans are tomorrow’s online casino newbies who are realizing that no longer do they need to hop on a plane once a year. Why spend their Social Security dollars on a flight when they can log on to their favorite online casino and drop those dollars on online slots?
Not to mention that the increase in online gambling coincides with more and more seniors getting on Facebook and buying smart phones. For Chrissakes, this author’s sixty-six year old mother recently bought herself an iPhone before the author even got his paws on one. Today, programming in phone numbers….tomorrow, THE WOOOOOOOOOORLD! Or at least a little online slots.
And there’s no doubt that online gambling and the thought processes that go along with casino games can only strengthen and keep the mind sharp, exactly what any senior needs to stay on top of his/her game. You see, people? It’s not just fun….it’s healthy too!
