We’re about seven months into the swine flu craze and the world is up in arms about H1N1. How do I get the flu shot, am I going to die, should I not get on this airplane? People! Let’s not overreact! Surely there must be an upside in this whole worldwide pandemic. Give me a second…I’m thinking….just one more second….got it!
As an online casino fan, I can actually see the swine flu being good for the online gambling world. (What did you think I was going to talk about, this is a blog about casino games, for Chrissakes!) Think about it: everybody’s freaking out over being in crowds. Casinos are practically Petri dishes for germs! Chips passing through fifty bajillion hands, nasty mouths touching drinks touching hands touching germs, sounds like good times for our friends at CSI and the CDC.
Here’s what I’m thinking: with our society as paranoid as it is, online gambling fans are going to use this as reason numero uno to stay home, prop their feet up on the table, and log in to their favorite online poker site. Why not? Good bonuses, good graphics, and what else was there?……Oh yes, no risk of H1N1 virus. It’s a true win-win!
Combine that with more people at home anyway recovering from sickness…..it’s only a matter of time before they get sick of Youtube and venture over to an online casino out of curiosity. And why not? After lying in bed for days, surely they’ll be ready to change their luck. Online blackjack, online craps….who needs Tamiflu???
So there you have it, just another reason why online gambling will be taking yet another turn for the better in the coming year. Get ready, casinos, here comes the swine flu crowd. Oink oink.
