So you really want to learn the game of Craps because it is the most electrifying game in the casino parlor as well as in the online casino gambling websites on the Internet? You have the first two bets down pat. Your initial bet is whether or not the shooter will pass (win) or don’t pass (lose). If the shooter rolls a 7 or 11, he automatically wins. If he rolls a 2, 3, or 12, he automatically loses. If the shooter rolls any other number than the aforementioned, another level of betting, the odds bet, is initiated. If you believe that the shooter will roll a duplication of his first number before he rolls a 7, then you place a bet on the odds bet line.
If there is a roll of the dice and neither the duplicate number nor a 7 is rolled, we enter the third level of betting. This is known as the Come Bet and it is made prior to the next roll of the dice. It gives the player a chance at another number. Let’s say that the shooter rolled an 8 on the third roll. If you want to place a come bet, you bet on the come line and your number on the come is 8. So, for arguments sake, the first number rolled was a 5, and the second roll was an 8. If either the 5 or the 8 is rolled on the next roll, you will win the pass line bet and the come bet and lose the odds bet.
The come bet is similar to the pass bet because in the above illustration, if the shooter rolled a 7, 11, or an 8, you would have won the come bet. Likewise, if the shooter had rolled a 2, 3, or 7, you would have lost your come bet. It is quite possible to win and lose on the game of Craps, and that is what makes it exhilarating for the online player.
